Philosophy of Practice

Carol’s therapeutic approach creates a safe environment in which the client’s active participation is invited in the process of self-discovery and change.  She believes in the importance of identifying and building on the client’s strengths in an effort to relieve emotional pain and initiate change.  With a psychodynamic approach, Carol uses brief or longer-term psychotherapy; depending on her client’s needs, objectives and goals.
